Mark Goodson - Salvation's Wind

Back to Sermons in Song>>>

This week in our sermon in song the simple lyrics of our very own sound engineer and media coordinator Mark Goodson earns him a spot in the archive. The song entitled “Salvation’s Wind” is based off of John 3 and emphasizes verses 8-15 (especially verse 8). It is a simple song with a hippie musical flavor which contemplates and celebrates the miracle and mystery of being Born again into the family of God.

"Salvation's Wind"

Music and Lyrics by:

Mark and Keith Goodson

Every time the Wind Blows

My mind gets to floatin' away

Every time the Wind Blows

I think about people getting saved

Every time the Wind Blows

A smile starts to rise on my face

Every Time the Wind Blows

I think about Your Grace

Salvation's  (Salvation's)

Wind is Blowing Again

Blowing Again, Blowing Again

(Repeat)

Lord, I know that You're here in this place

I can see You on each and every face

I can hear You, You're callin' Your children

To run to You and be born again
